Air Fryer Sausage Rolls
In just 18 minutes you can have some of the best sausage rolls you have ever tasted for a morning tea time or lunch time snack. Although this is another air fryer recipe I have included instructions for a normal oven below as well. An air fryer is really just a compact fan forced oven. In its small environment it recirculates cooking air back into meal, keeping the flavour locked in. This is why everything tastes so good, because you aren't leaving all the flavour behind, in the oven. These sausage rolls will definitely delight you.
The best advice I can offer with air fryers is not to crowd them. Make sure that hot roasting/baking air can circulate through all the food in the cooking basket. If you are cooking fries, then if they take 12 minutes, then cook them in 2 x 6 minutes batches and give them a shake at the 6 minute mark. For these sausage rolls, keep them at a single layer. If maybe that you have to cook these in two separate batches, in which case have your oven or warming draw on to keep the first batch warm. The real reward comes when you cook a chicken in them for the first time. The flavour that you get from roasting a whole chicken in your air fryer will knock your socks off.
“These air fryer sausage rolls look absolutely delicious and easy to make! Perfect for a quick snack.
