You don't have to use Aged Angus Rump Beef steak for this pie. You preferred quality cut of beef will do just fine, after all it will be you who is eating it. also, you can see that the ingredients list is deliberately small. The only additions will be to enhance the flavour, of the cut of meat you have selected. right, lets get on with cooking this pie.....

INGREDIENTS FOR ANGUS BEEF RUMP PIE

  • 2 Large sheets of pre-rolled puff pastry
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp rice bran oil
  • 1/2 red onion finely chopped
  • 350 grams aged Angus rump
  • 2 beef stock cubes crumbled
  • 250 mls hot water
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • A good grind of black pepper
