This beef mushroom and leek pie is the first recipe out of my test kitchen to be filmed. Usually everything you see on my YouTube channel has been cooked before and I am just repeating a perfected recipe. Today you are seeing my first attempt at a beef mushroom and leek pie. It went very well and hence I'm releasing it on my channel. Let's get cooking...........
100 grams of minced beef
200 grams of white button mushroom diced
1 leek sauteed in 25 grams butter
1 400 gram can of brown lentils drained
1 vegetable stock cube
1 beef stock cube
Good grind of black pepper
250mls boiling water
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp cold water
1 packet of pre-rolled pastry 350 gram
1 egg
1 tbsp water
