Ingredients for : Country Kitchen Vegetables Soup
1 x 210 gram packet of soup mix (dried peas, lentils, barley etc)
1.5 litres boiling water
1 potato grated
1/2 sweet potato grated
2 carrots grated
1 cup of pumpkin grated
1/2 leek finely chopped
1 and 1/2 cups of chopped bacon hock
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
4 heaped teaspoons tomato paste
Salt and Pepper
Extra boiling water if needed
Add any other root vegetables, celery and onions if required
