Eggs Benedict Unleashed
Experimenting in the kitchen can often lead to improvements in traditional dishes. This is one such meal. Eggs Benedict has long been my go to breakfast when out and about. Our version of "out and about" has been changed for us now, so getting a meal perfect is now done at home.( This video was shot at the early stages of COVID during one of the lockdowns Take one of your favourites and jazz it up. Ingredients per serving:
1 English muffin, toasted
1 rasher Shoulder bacon smoked and chopped
1/2 medium red onion roughly chopped
Red and White baby cos lettuce a generous handful
2 poached eggs
1/4 cup of hollandaise sauce (Bisto or other non powdered brand)
1 spring onion chopped
A sprinkling of Parmesan cheese
I started Cooking Around The World in December 2020, with the intention of cooking at least one dish from every country in the world. This has since turned into, cooking the best dishes from each country. As you can imagine a country like Italy may take at lot longer, even if I just stuck to bread, pasta and pizza.
