Greek style Pizza Tonight I really felt like a Greek pizza with a crispy base and those traditional Greek toppings. With my dough kneading in the breadmaker, I took a quick shower and then chopped up all the ingredients. If I had been able to find lamb minced I would have used that, made into mini meatballs instead of pepperoni. Seven minutes later I was taking out of the oven my favourite Mediterranean food. Have a look at the video below , to see how it came out.  But firstly a list of the ingredients I used today.
For The Pizza Base (will be enough for 2 pizzas):
  • 6 grams of active yeast granules
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 170 mls warm water
  • 2 and 1/4 cups of plain flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp neutral vegetable oil
For The Sauce Base (will be enough for 4 pizzas):
  • 1 x 425 gram can of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 heaped tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 2 tsp dried mixed herbs
    For The Pizza Topping:
  • 1/3 the tomato base paste
  • 125 grams pepperoni salami sliced into small strips
  • 100 grams of grated edam cheese
  • 50 grams feta cheese crumbled
  • 20 pitted black olives halved
  • 1/2 red onion chopped finely
