Always keep a spare can of tuna or salmon on hand for this light and tasty lasagna. If you are like me and want to cut down on red or fatty meat, then this is the perfect solution. What you don't eat of this can be frozen. This will serve up to 8 people. This is also a great food to take out on a picnic, should the flowers be fluttering and dancing in the breeze. On a side note, lasagna refers to the meal itself, where as lasagne, is the pasta sheets or noodles only.
Tuna Lasagna Ingredients:
12 sheets of Barilla lasagne
2 x 50g of butter
2 onions chopped finely
3 cloves garlic chopped finely
2 cans of chopped tomatoes (400 grams each)
1 chicken stock cube
4 tbsp plain flour
400mls non fat milk
Pinch of salt
2 tsp Colman's hot English mustard powder
1 x 425gram tin of flaked tuna in spring water drained
